Sharm El Sheikh
We offer low cost package deals to many destinations
Sharm El Sheikh sits on the southernmost tip of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, receiving dry sunny days all year round and features the vast untouched Sinai desert and the glittering Red Sea. The beaches are the most popular attraction here, relax all day on soft golden sands or submerse yourself in the technicolour coral reef gardens. Scuba diving is rife in the Sharm, due to the amazing marine life and warm tropical waters, courses are widely available and are recommended for beginners wanting to night dive or explore the many shipwrecks. If water exploration isn’t for you, then make sure to hop on a glass bottom boat, the guides will point out the best bits and you won’t miss out on the underwater paradise. Away from the beach and amongst the luxury hotels and delectable restaurants there is a rich selection of shopping malls and markets, jewellery, leathers and ceramics are specialised here, but there is plenty of tourist wears. Cultured travellers must see the St Catherine’s Monastery at the foot of Mount Sinai; legend has it this is where Moses beheld the burning bush. Inside are a collection of treasured icons, illuminated scriptures and ancient mosaics and it is the oldest monastery of Christendom. Another must see is the Ras Mohammed National Park, a massive nature reserve full of white sandy beaches, untouched deserts and mysterious dive sites.
